HEY GUYS !!!! Dont forget about the "acme" show Saturday at the one in clifton heights !!!! I believe it starts around 8. Last year was a BLAST !!!!! No registration fee, free "goodie" box, door prizes. They will have a d.j. and last year thet had a grill going with free lunch for all participants, trophies...and get this...a "dancing cow" giving out samples of milk. The acme put on one AWESOME show last year !!!! If they get enough participants...they will have another one next year.!!! Hope to see some fellow members there!!! Stop by and say "HI"..

Re: 2ND ANNUAL MEGA CAR SHOW

For all that couldn't be there...it was a "perfect" day for a car show !! The registration was limited to a certain amount , unfortunately late comers got turned away. The cars were parked in every other spot which gave 'plenty' of 'breathing room' for the cars that had big doors...and also peace of mind for people like me that get excited with every new scratch...real OR imagined.!! The acme gave all that registered TWO goodie boxes filled all kind of stuff .. car care products, household products and the tastycakes and chips and soda... list goes on!! I had a really hard time trying to squeeze the boxes in the trunk of the vette.....it doesn't have one..OOOPS. The d.j. played a good selection of car-oriented music.I gotta thank acme and their staff for hosting this "get-together...and THANKS for the awesome door prizes they had for every participant!!! I don't know if anyone went to last years show...but...they had a representative from one of the milk companies there in costume as a cow. So last year there was a cow dancing around giving away samples of milk ..NO dancing going on this year...bummer..!!! I hope next year the acme can open the area up for more people to participate. It could prove to be a fantastic local delaware county tradition ???!!!!

well, since you're not concerned with staying stock, maybe some more custom work is in order! you have a whole year to get it done!

Re: 2ND ANNUAL MEGA CAR SHOW

One thing that I forgot to add on my previous posts. Acme supplied something that really added to the enjoyment of the show........"WATER" !!!! ..... FREE COLD BOTTLED WATER !!!!  I think it was a fantastic idea. They had cylindrical coolers filled with bottled water on plenty of ice throughout the show area. This maybe a consideration for other shows that are held during the hot summer months to keep attendees refreshed?? Most shows sell sodas that only de-hydrate you more. ....anyone else agree???

Re: 2ND ANNUAL MEGA CAR SHOW

sounds great all around. i'd really like to find out way ahead of time when they are having it next year so there is no conflict. glad to hear they had a full house too! that should make it a good chance that they'll keep having it. water is a great idea. it was tough enough just buying a cold water this weekend let alone getting it for free! =)

going to springfield ford pete? right up the street right?
